Avalon and family are happy to announce she will be part of a two-rider Team Race Supplies squad for the upcoming 2011 championships. Lining up alongside Rangiora’s Jake Lewis, Avalon will be again racing a Blue Wing Honda rs125 in the 125gp class.

RaceSupplies manager Kevin Goddard and ex-New Zealand champion Tim McArthur will play an invaluble role in giving Avalon the support she needs for a comprehensive title campaign. The team are also proud to announce a partenership with Henk Jager of He-Ja Motortechnics which will see different parts being tried throughout the season on the teams bikes.

Avalon: ”After finishing 4th and 2nd in the past two year’s 125gp championship, I am looking forward to working with Team RaceSupplies this season. Riding on Bridgestone tires and he-ja parts will be an exciting challenge for me but one I am really looking forward to and confident about with the expertise of the team. I hope that together we have fun this season and come out of it with a New Zealand Championship!”

Avalon is excited to be back training with RacePace trainers in preparation for the 2011 season. Fitness is a key part of any racer’s success and Avalon will be participating in a range of fitness activities with her RacePace trainer Tracy.
